Anniversary Cruise Part 1

This January we celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary. Hard to believe it's been this long! We wanted to do something a little extra special for this one so we took a 4 night cruise in the Bahamas. Our boat was pretty big, 14 stories, and held almost 3,000 passengers.

First stop was Nassau. Starbucks are everywhere!

The view of our ship over the buildings. Those boats are big.

Cop on a box. Hee!

Lots of celebrities have homes in Nassau (technically on "Paradise Island"). We saw Oprah's two houses, Michael Jordan's, Tiger Wood's, Charlie Chaplin's former home, and below was the home of Elvis!

Blue blue water.

Us on the way to our snorkeling excursion. We had a nice ride to reggae music.

More relaxing on the boat ride. It was the warmest day of our trip, in the mid 70's, so we were soaking it up.

Greg getting geared up. The water was pretty cold--we knew we were in for it when we our guides put on wetsuits to get in the water. Still we saw lots of beautiful fish and coral.

Heather bundled up on the ride home. Those 70 degrees didn't feel so warm after being in that cold water!

Greg and Senor Frogs after our snorkeling. Our ship is in the background.

Us on our formal night. While everyone was getting dressed up for inaugural balls back home we were getting decked out in the Carribean. Not so bad!

I love towel animals!

Heather loves cheesy touristy photos, Greg is giving his editorial comment to that...
